The goal of the Public Works Department is to serve the Citizens of the City of Loganville. To support the Mayor, Council and all the other City Departments.
Highway & Streets
Our department maintains all streets, right of ways and traffic signage within the City limits. If you should have a street light out in your neighborhood, please report it to your power company.

For malfunctioning traffic signals, please contact us so that we can contact GDOT.
Buildings & Grounds
Public Works is responsible for the grounds and up keep of all City owned buildings and properties. This includes remodeling of existing buildings and any new construction.
Parks & Green Space
We strive to keep the parks and green space areas clean for our residents to enjoy. If you should notice a problem with the playground equipment, walking trails or pavilions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Bulk Trash/ Yard Debris Pick-Up
Bulk Trash Pick-Up Policy – Residential only – Call in basis only-Please be sure items are at the curb before calling.
Yard Debris Pick-Up Schedule - Residential Only – Includes a listing of street names and designated pick up day.
Batteries and used motor oil can be taken to the Walton County Recycling Center free of charge.
Tires also can be taken for a minimal fee.

Lumber and or construction material WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. (This includes debris from remodeling, refurbishing or removal of old or existing interior or exterior structures.)
Residents are responsible for disposing these types of materials. They may be taken to:

Reminder: Public Works has FREE composting mulch. We do not deliver so please call for hours of availability for loading.
