City Council Meetings take place every 2nd Thursday of the month.
Meetings begin at 7:30pm.

Meet Your City Council

Council Member Wendell Geiger has served on the Loganville City Council for 12 Years and has served as Vice Mayor for 6 Years. Wendell in a lifelong resident and was married to the former Peggy Allgood (Deceased). Wendell is very active with his grandsons Christopher and Weston and he is also active in the community. He is a member of the Corinth Christian Church, Past Master of Fergus Lodge 135, Charter Member and Past President of the Loganville Shrine Club.

Wendell is retired from the Walton County Water & Sewage Authority where he served as the General Manager as well as AT&T and the Air Force Reserves (32 years).

Council Member Mark Kiddoo was elected to his first term in June 2003 and was elected again in November 2004. He has been a resident of Loganville since 1999. Mark is married to Susan and has a daughter Kimberly and a son Derek.

Mark has graduated from the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Community Planning Academy and was a member of Loganville’s Planning and Development Commission. He has a MBA in International Business and a Bachelors degree in Management. Mark has been a business manager and a consultant for over 15 years.

Mark is an Eagle Scout and a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church where he teaches Sunday school.

Council Member Michael Lynch was elected to the City Council in January 2008. Michael graduated from Brookwood High School in 1990 and subsequently earned his B. A. in Psychology from the State University of West Georgia. He is currently employed by Armstrong World Industries as a Strategic Account Manager. Michael has proudly served as a member of the United States Army Reserve since January 1998. After 7 years of enlisted service he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant. He currently serves as the Executive Officer of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3D Medical Command at Fort Gillem, GA. He is a recent graduate of the volunteer training program for Walton County Fire Rescue. Michael is married to his wife Michelle and together they have three children.

Council Member Jerry Price was elected to the Council in 2003. He has spent most of his life in Public Service including 34 years in the Atlanta Police Department. After retiring in 2001 he worked as Parks and Recreation Director for Loganville and helped out part time at the Loganville Police Department.

Raised in College Park he now lives here with his wife, Teresa. They have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren.

Council Member Eileen Waring was elected in January 2009. Eileen has served Loganville City Council for a previous term in 2003-2004. Eileen attended Wesley College, Delaware, Dekalb Community College, Georgia Tech and extension courses University of Georgia. She has been a resident of Loganville since 1989. Raised in the Air Force Eileen traveled extensively. Retired Finance & Administrative Director 30 years from an International Chemical Engineering Corporation. Eileen came out of retirement to work for the Walton County Sheriff’s Office as an Administrator for the West Side Precinct in Loganville. Served on the Board for Kiwanis of Loganville (Past President & Charter Member), Walton Quality Growth, Habitat for Humanity, Lifetime Member VFW Women's Auxiliary Group, Established the Medical Coalition for Walton County Chamber of Commerce, Currently Treasurer Loganville "TRIAD" Keeping Seniors Safe. Eileen has a daughter and son-in-law Christina & Andrew Norman and granddaughter Savannah . She is a member of Holy Cross Anglican Church, Loganville.

Council Member Dan Curry and and his wife Nancy grew up and lived in the Centerville Community of Gwinnett County prior to moving to Loganville in August of 2004. They have two married daughters and one granddaughter. They attend Hope and Life Fellowship Church where Dan serves as the administrator. Dan has been a member of many civic and fraternal organizations including Loganville Lions Club. He is a past president of The Centerville Business Association and The Villas at Loganville Home Owners Association. Dan served on the Loganville Planning and Development Commission prior to being elected to the city Council.
