Dan and Nancy were lifetime members of Rock Bridge Baptist Church (later becoming Hope and Life Fellowship of Rockbridge) where Dan served on the Board of Deacons. In 1996, Dan and Nancy were instrumental in founding a food pantry at the church that is currently assisting 200+ families each week. In 1997, Dan and Nancy began a monthly inner-city outreach in downtown Atlanta feeding and ministering to 70-100 homeless. Dan retired as Administrator of Hope and Life Fellowship in July 2011. They are now members of Graystone Church Ozora campus.
